    Hi Everyone!

    Been doing induction for 2.5 weeks now and steady ketosis but can't say its doing much yet. I've gained about 10 lbs since the summer, most of which has been in the last couple months between not jogging at lunch (winter weather) & quitting smoking 6 weeks ago.

    Several years ago did Atkins, lost 12 lbs and pretty much stayed there even though I was living low carb, just not overly strictly. The last couple years pretty much counted calories, ate healthy & jogged on lunch hours for atleast 7 months of the year. (frig I hate winter!)

    Anyhow, looking forward to participating in this forum. I have a question about quitting smoking & ketosis that I'll post in another category.

    Hi there!

    I'm a newbie to and also returning to Atkins. My first time was in 2002 and had great success, but after 3 kids I need to lose the hanging behind 25lbs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

    I've finished induction on Tuesday with 8.5lbs lost. I've decided to do extended induction for a few more weeks.
    My current stats:
    Height: 5'8"
    Started Induction: Jan 20th, 2009
    Starting weight: 175
    Current weight: 166.5
    Goal weight: 150
