  • Here we go!

    Hello,

My name is Julie. I'm from Wilmington, NC. My husband and I will begin atkins on Tuesday. I'm nervous about sticking with it, but will try to take it one day at a time. I can do anything for one day.

I have a question, the ticker...I try to login to create my ticker and it tells me wrong name and password. Could someone help me with that please?

Lookin' forward to getting to know y'all.

    Hi, Julie,

    Welcome!!!!

Which ticker site are you trying to use? If you haven't already created an account, you will have to set up a new one before you are able to login to it.

It's wonderful that both you and your husband are going on Atkins together. Be sure to check out the recipe section here and at Linda's Low Carb recipes. That will keep your meals good tasting and interesting and keep you from getting bored.

It may be hard the first few days but don't give up, it's worth it. I strayed off this WOL a number of time, and although it may taste good going down, it makes you feel like crap

Made it thru day one without a hitch! I really didn't crave carbs. I sure did spend a lot of time in the bathroom tho. ha!

Yeah, had it checked last year. It's from drinking all the water!

I don't hardly have any appetite today tho and that bothers me. I made myself eat a breadless cheesesteak, choked it down actually.

i am on day 4, and its a completely new thing for me, to watch and look at everything i eat.. i screwed up, without realizing it, and now i take the book with me everywhere!! lol so if i have any questions i goto the book. i havent lost any weight, but since i drank a coke zero on day three, lil slip up here and there, i'm not expecting a miracle in three days. lol. especially reading that if i do have issues with losing, im not the only one. i certainly am not going to get discouraged.. I do feel more energy at the gym! baby steps.. for sure.
