  • Back at it again

    Hi! About five years ago, I lost 20 pounds following Atkins. Somehow I got off track, gained back those 20 plus 10 more. I think what I was missing last time was support, so that is why I decided to join the bulletin board. I started induction on Feb. 8th so I am into my second week of it right now. So far, I have dropped 5 pounds.

          Welcome aboard, dsulli! I know exactly what you mean about going it alone because that's what I did the first time on Atkins. I lasted 3 months and lost 28 lbs. but when the holidays came around, I slipped off the diet and couldn't get back on for 4 years. By that time, I had gained it all back plus some. Then I found this board and this time, I had plenty of support to get me through the holidays and I didn't gain an ounce! This place is wonderful and we never have to ever go it alone again.             My thanks to everyone who responded to my first post! I have a good feeling about losing the weight this time. I'm getting a little bored with the foods I have been eating though the past 10 days so I'm going to be looking for advice along those lines -- I'm sure there's a recipe forum somewhere, isn't there?
