    Well hello there =)

I'm a 22 year old asian girl who lives in a world full of petite girls! Ugh... From April 2007 to Feb 2009 I went from 107lbs to 152lbs! WTH?!

SOOOO... I just started my induction phase on Wednesday the 18th and it's kind of hard. I'm really confused with how much exercise I should be doing along side with my diet. Right now I'm just doing 30 minutes on the eliptical and I don't know if I should be doing more.

Anyway, I took some before pictures but I don't think I'll be posting it until I have my during pictures hehe.

SO yeah any info, helps or and encouragement what-so-ever will help me!!

    Re: New =)

Well hey! I can understand how you feel, even though I'm a boy and I'm about 8 years younger than you (I'll be 14 in late March), I totally know what you're feeling, and it's awesome that you've decided to do go on the Atkin's Diet. The good thing is you don't way that much above what you should be. A few months on the Atkin's Diet, and you'll be feeling great, and looking great too.
If you want to get a little bit of "thinspiration", to show you that you're not that bad.

    my GW: 140lbs

So as you can see, I have to lose 125lbs :P.
    Well anyways, good luck

      Welcome, wantmybodback!

My mother is 4'10 and has a 24" waist after 6 children and 7 decades, so I understand how big you feel around a lot of petite, tiny people! I sometimes feel like an elephant around her!

I don't know how others would advise you, but my advice would be to exercise, but take it easy until you are past induction. I didn't feel truly up to par in the third week either.

Also, be SURE you eat your veggies if you are exercising. They will help keep you from experiencing a complete lack of energy and a feeling of exhaustion. I do best when I eat them before I exercise.

Good luck, and so glad you are here!
