  • greetings from wisconsin!

hi all, my name is emma and im a student at uw milwaukee, just wanted to say hey - ive been lurking round here for a few weeks and think you guys are ace!

this is my ... er ... fifth? sixth? time on atkins...i have no idea...first time since about 2005 though - just finished induction and am coping much better than before! i feel great and have no cravings whatsoever!

ive been overweight my whole life, i cant even remember a time when i wasnt - it wasnt particularly pronounced though until i could start making my own food choices at about 13/14, then it got progressively worse until i was about 16 and decided to go on atkins...i managed to lose a decent amount, but hit a stall and quickly rebelled..since then ive gone up about 25lbs (in 5 years). i think im just more mature now at 21, and ive got found the huge support network that is

its too early for me to say if im back for good this time, i dont want to make a promise that i dont know for sure ill keep, but im feeling pretty optimistic at the minute! ive gone from 213lbs to 201lbs since 6th february...onederland doesn't seem as far away as it used to!
