  • I'm Sick of Being Fat :P

I am 222 lbs and my height is 5'6. I have had three children in the last 4 and 1/2 years which has left me saggy and depressed. My husband spends alot of time at sea, so it is really hard to get motivated exercise wise because I am pooped when the kids finally hit the hay.

My friend just asked me to stand in her wedding party....in 145 days from now. The dresses are baby yellow (so much for hiding flab lol). Help!!! If I honestly stick to induction how much weight can I lose before then. I don't want to look like a meatball next to all the other spagetti girls.

I have lost 10 lbs in the last 2 months counting calories, but if I treat myself once, a few pounds creep back. It's depressing. I had a friend who did Atkins and lost 105 lbs in 8 months and looks fab!

Please let me know how much weight some of you guys have lost in 4 months! Thanks![url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/w16stNQ/]

Congrats on your loss so far!

Your question is hard to answer because we all lose at a different rate depending on how old we are, how active we are, how much and what we are eating and how easily we normally lose. But Dr. Atkins says that someone with a lot of weight can expect to lose 12 to 16 lbs. in 2 weeks of induction if they have average to low resistance. ( Page 158 of the DANDR). This is not gospel of course because we are all different.

Good luck to you. I know you can do it!

Yeah, this really isn't a weight loss quick plan, but it works and the foods are delicious and you never go hungry. If your serious, you can do it.

Exercise will really help speed things up for you. You'll really notice your body start to change it's shape if you incorporate exercise into your plan.
