  • My Last Resort..

    Hi ,

    I am Niki , from Singapore .Trying to lose atleast 20 kgs off my weight through Atkins . Sounds a bit over ambitious . ?I am 90 KGS Not sure how many lbs .Size 20 .
    Starting my Induction phase today . Hope fully can complete my first 14 days successfully .
    Please support me . The valuable advises and meggases are so motivating . hence joined as a member .

    Hi Niki, Welcome aboard. there are 2.2 pounds in a kilogram Nothing over ambitious about your goal.....just remember to measure yourself as well, because the scale can be a liar!!





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

      Thanks ,for the message. I am planning to weigh myself after 2 weeks , as i want to see some results on the scale or else will leave me disappointed .
      Can I take onion with fried eggs , normally how many eggs per day is recommended ?, Thanks

        Do you have the book? It is a really good resource. It tells you what you can eat.

        So as you can see after reading these. You can have some onion and there is not limitation on eggs.

              Thanks friends for your support . I was going quite smoothly , when yesterday was so desperate that I took some cashew nuts ...anyway still not giving up and trying to get back to induction, today .
              I can see that I do feel lighter , but my weighing scale just shows 1 kg down . I was expecting to lose atleast 3 kgs (a bit too greedy!)
              morning bfast : I take one egg and sausage with some cucumber and tomato slices
              lunch is mostly veg + fish/chicken
              dinner is eggs+some vegetables. I am scred , I may end up with cholestrol with such high amount of eggs consumed

                If your liver is functioning properly, your egg consumption is no problem.

                  Niki, here is something to read about eggs:


                  You don't write the quantities, but are you sure there is enough fat in your menu? You should aim for 65% fat, 5% carbs and 30% protein during induction.
