well, i'm back once again. plan on starting back on plan tomorrow morning. getting ready to clean out the cupboards and fridge and then heading to the store to get myself stocked up. wanted to re-introduce myself on ADBB first.
this is i think my 5th restart, it seems that no matter how well i do when i'm on this plan, and no matter when i start, the holidays are always my downfall. i had done fairly well the last time i was on the plan. starting in june of '08. i lost 30+ lbs in a little over 3 months. had even joined the YMCA and started working out a couple times a week. then mid september everything started going downhill. first off, there was a huge power outage from high winds, effects from a hurricane that happened a thousand miles away from where i live. it became an excuse to eat things of convience since there was no electricity to cook. once power was back on, it still took a few weeks to get back on plan, but i did. i did fairly well for about another 2 months, moving up the rungs though not really losing anything i was atleast not gaining. also i had not returned to the gym after the black out. so then thanksgiving came and of course christmas was right around the corner. i thought to myself, i'll take the month off and then as soon as christmas is over i'll get right back at it. the beginning of the holidays also delivered another blow as my hubby was let go at his job after being there for 17 1/2 yrs.
well the holidays are well gone, and i'm back to where i started last june. can't fit into many of my clothes, the ones i can wear are not in anyway flattering, and i'm started to feel all the aches and pains of being overweight again. so i think i'm ready to get started. i know i need to get this food thing under control.
i could probably go on and on, but i guess i need to save something for other posts....lol
off to get rid of the junk in the house........TTFN
