  • Happy to be here...

Hello! I joined just a few minutes ago. I am 25 years old. I have about 140 pounds to lose. I started induction one week ago. The first few days were horrible, to say the least, but I found this forum and kept going and staying strong by reading the inspirational messages and support here.

This morning I realized I was coming to this forum at least once a day... it was high time to stop "lurking" and join up. I will take some time to figure out my way around the site. In the meantime, thank you to everyone. I am amazed at the support found here. I'm excited about this journey.

I will post more details later - but for now, thank you! Good luck to all!

No, induction is not fun. The next stages are easier with a lot more interesting food combinations possible.

            Re: Happy to be here...

You all are so wonderful! Thank you! I will definitely join the Century Club. I am such a cheesy girl... here I am reading your kind posts and I'm reaching for a tissue. I feel so blessed to have such support already, just from one little post saying I joined.

            Thank you all!

Well, I have to go study.. I have a final in the morning. But I will be back... and hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to do neat things with my signature and what have you. I remember reading about how to do that...

You are all so inspirational! I can't believe how "light" I already feel, just by reading these kind notes. There should be more kind souls like you in this world.

            Hugs,
            Avery

                  Hi Avery!
I am pretty new here myself, and the people here have been so supportive and wonderful! Once I got over my first 5 days, most of my induction symptoms went away, although I am still dealing with occasional fatigue. Looking forward to watching your progress!

Yay! I figured out (a little bit) of what I am doing... I actually have a semi-signature now.

And thank you crissyrenee! I'm glad you like the name... and I hope you do get to name your own daughter Avery someday.

Danielle - how is the fatigue? Is it getting better?

Thank you to everyone again that replied to my "newbie" status... see you around the site!
