Ashley, no one can motivate you. You have to want to lose the weight badly enough to do what you have to do to get there.

If you decide to commit to getting back on the Atkins WOE, you will find an incredible group of people here to encourage and support you.

I hope you choose to join us!

      Hi Ashley
LOL. The weight is ALWAYS in the wrong places!
I think it's great that you lost that post baby weight in the first place, and sometimes we have to do it a few times to get it right(I'm on my 3rd and FINAL time!!). You should be here to change your lifestyle, because to diet to lose weight, and then go back to what you were doing....well, it just doesn't work.
My advice...join a challenge or two, record all your meals in fitday, and find a hobby that you can do when you feel like munching.

Good luck! See ya round the forums

        Nice to meet you Ashley.
Yes I am not sure where the right place for the weight is.... But you can do it. Keep going. And yes exercise is great for toning those places with weight on them.

Exercise to include weight lifting. ITs the best for shaping and putting things right

ok so i just went back on atkins. I have been running for a week and in ketosis for 8 days. Lost 3 pounds only. Im on anti depressants and i think its messing me up. I dont know what to do now;. When i was on it not long ago but not on anti depressant i lost so quick. Im scared i wont be able to get weight back down. That was the reason i went on anti depressants cause i gained 87 pounds with daughter and i had image issues on top of anxiety from old drug use dont judge it was a long time ago. Someone please right me back im desprete. im drinking so much water i can burst. I really am getting lost.

              Re: alittle about me

Ashley, Dr Atkins said we should lose about 5-10% of our total weight loss goal during the first two weeks of inducion. I can't see you wanting to lose more than 30 pounds? And you're only in week 1. Hang it there!
