Hi Sylvia -- I'm glad you found the board and are making a commitment to your health - you made it through the first day -- you are on your way!!! Consider this WOE (way of eating) as 1 day at a time .... when you get through each one give yourself a big pat on the back and move on.
You will never be without support here - we are all here to help each other! Read the DANDR book, follow the rules and you'll be losing before you know it. Good luck on your journey
Thanks for all the comments of support , I am well on my really sticking to it. I am down 7 lbs. this week, I am so excited I am a little worried about st. Patricks day we are having a party at work. I am hoping to get thru that without any problems I am pretty set in doing this so I dont think I will.

Congratulations....I celebrate in your success. I was down 7lbs too after my first week and now after 13 days in I am down 13.1 lbs.....I am lost for words on how it feels. Each day I now greet life with a smile and new found spirit within myself. I haven't seen that part of me in a looooooooong time. I feel like I am living again.
