  • Intro...

Well, here I go. I am 31 and have struggled with weight all my life. Before I got married it was just an extra 20-30 pounds I was always trying to get off but now with marriage and a baby, I am a good 80-100pds overweight and I can really feel how out of shape I am. My back hurts me all the time. I can't climb stairs without being winded. I have a little boy who is almost two and I can't keep up with him and all of his energy. In my opinion...that sucks! I am young and I function like I am old. So, I need to do something about it and my mom has always been an activist of this program...so here we go...

    Welcome to , rowrowsmama!!!!!

You are in a great place. One thing to look forward to is more energy! Once you get past the first few days (sometimes a week) you will have much more energy. Another bonus is that even when you lose some of the weight you'll already be able to keep up better with your little one.

This is a wonderful way of life (WOL). It's a good thing you have your mom on your side.

    Here's looking up for you!

Hey RowRowsmama! Welcome! I am new to the board also. I was in your position 5 years ago and did nothing about it. Now I am older and have just continued to gain over the years. You are doing the right thing and I can not wait to see what the next year will hold for both of us.

Welcome to the board to both of you!

This diet is the answer to the problems of constant eating and low energy. It's the best thing you can do for yourselves and your familes. And it gets easier the longer you do it instead of getting harder to maintain as low calorie diets do, so just take it one day at a time and you will be rewarded with a whole new outlook on life.

Keep us posted on your progress. You may want to join a challenge or two because they help keep you focused and accountable.
