help me im lost

  • help me im lost

    I am a 23 year old woman and im trying my hardest. I am round two atkins went from 152 to 125 then gained most of it back when i got off of it now i was 138 now at 134 ive lost 4 pounds in 5 days. is that good? I have been running everyday. It seems that i lost more quicker the first time. Ahh im frustrauted. I have a little 2 year old and any advice for getting my flat belly back? Is this menu ok?

    day 5 peices bacon, 1 sausage, cheese omlete and water

    lunch 2 burgers wraped in lettuce

    dinner 8 ounce chicken grilled with onion salt, toni spices, and garlic power, garlic salt. broccolli and cheese

    snack cheese or deviled eggs

    all i drink is water sooo plenty of water..

    I run 1 mile in the mornings or night....

    am i doing everything alright?

    Welcome back!

    Congrats on the weight loss! I'd advise some more green veggies; watch out for the salt ... it can cause bloat.

      Welcome back! Four pounds in 5 days is great!!!

      Do add in your salad veggies from the allowed foods list. You are supposed to have 3 cups a day of the allowed salads, or two cups of salad and one cup from the "other vegetables" list.

      And be SURE you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. It's essential to lose the weight.

      Sounds like you are off to a great start!

        Just wanted to add my welcome to the others! Nice to have you with us.
        I'll echo the advice you've been given already... more veggies and careful with the salt.

          I noticed that this is your second thread in the Spotlight Forum. Perhaps if you posted in the Induction Forum, or the Review My Menu Forum with your questions, you would get a wider range of responses. This forum is used primarily for Introductions.

            well i eat alot of broccolli at night.. and i eat peppers red and green. i dont eat alot of salt. i acually hate salt ..

              I'm not sure what "a lot" means for you, but broccoli is on the "Other Vegetables" list, so it is limited to 1 cup per day. Peppers are part of the "Salad Vegetables", so you can have 2-3 cups per day, depending on how much broccoli you are eating. Your veggies should add up to 3 cups.

              You might be frustrated, but I am confused. You've lost 4 lbs in 5 days. I'm not sure what you are expecting, but that's not slow! And if you are eating right and exercising (congrats for running daily!), there is little else you can do anyway.
