Hey guys~ I don't see too many familiar faces from when I was here before, but I am getting back on the band wagon next Monday. *I am waiting until Monday because my in-laws will be here this weekend and they are bad bad eaters, so I will just eat reasonably, but not low-carb until Monday.
First off, Introduction. I started Low-Carbing about 3 years ago, I think.
I lost 60 pounds, and maintained for over a year, which was excellent. Then, I got pregnant unexpectedly, so I changed to just enough carbs to keep me out of ketosis safely. I think around 120 grams a day since I wanted to make sure that my baby got all that he needed to grow. Did pretty good, gained 30 back while I was pregnant, lost 10 with his birth, still had 20 to lose.
Then, I got hit will terrible postpardum depression. I couldn't do anything but cry! And, feed my face with rice, tater tots and chocolate (and I think a few barrels of chilli cheese fritos).
So, I am now what I was when I started low carb the first time. I have new motivation, ready to get back on track, no babies in the near future, and I do NOT want my son to remember his Mom being fat....
So, for me, and the ability to play with my son, here I am, 5'1, 260ish, and ready to lose this again. I know I can do it. I've done it before, and will do it again
I'm excited, and I can't wait till Monday. I use keto sticks as positive reinforcement, so I have stocked up. Ready to get going!!
