I joined the site a while ago and lurked every once in a while. Recently, I finished reading Gary Taubes' Good Calories, Bad Calories and found it very enlightening. I've been doing a semi-low carb to low carb WOE for a while now, but took some time off earlier this year. I started induction this week.
I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, PCOS, insulin resistance - all that kind of fun stuff.
The only thing that helps me to lose fat is low carb - on semi-low carb, I maintain, but don't lose. Which I guess is good news for after I'm at a weight I feel comfortable with.
After being diagnosed with Hashi's and PCOS, I dropped from a size 30/32 to my current 18/20, but summer is coming and I have summer weddings to attend! So - time to get serious about losing the rest of the fat. Yep - I'm clothes motivated!
Anyway - TA DA! Here I am!
