    Howdy from Texas!

    I have been a lurker for awhile and then my DD joined so finally I did too. I have used Atkins in the past with great results and find myself again in a situation where I need to drop 45 lbs. I feel better, look better and live better when my body and joints aren't screaming in pain.

    I look forward to the comraderie here and tips on losing fat....phlox

              welcome and I feel so much better on Atkins than anything. Good luck and we are all here to support each other

                              I've been to both Lake Travis and Katy. I used to live in Houston and took I-10 though Katy plenty of times going out of town....and back in the day we used to vacation at the lakes....Travis, Buchanan, Inks.

                                          It's good see alot of fellow Texans here!!! I am in north Texas, Denton area which is about 45 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth.....We have friends that live in Katy and also my step-daughter lives in Cedar Park, just north of Austin!

                                              Oh wow, this post is making me miss Texas! I was born in Plano, outside of Dallas. I moved all up and down the east coast as a kid and now teach in Phoenix, AZ! I think I may end up in Texas sometime soon, though! I'm planning on a trip over to Austin and San Antonio! Yay Texas

                                                          I guess I have to throw my hat in the ring as well...

                                                          I am in Allen, TX just north of Dallas, and east of Denton. Anyone use Smokin' Joe Jones BBQ sauce as a lo-carb alternative to help them stay away from the molasses and brown sugar? I figure the Marble Falls contingent should know other lo-carb/no-carb alternatives.
