  • Ready to get started!

Been browsing this site for years wondering if Atkins was really the way for me to go. I had some amazing success with Weight Watchers but was hungry and crazy all of the time and when I reached my goal I went back to my old ways and put it all back (120lbs) and then some. Also had some great success with Atkins a few years back but got sucked into the idea that it's unhealthy by others. But at this point, I'm way overweight, triglycerides are off the chart and my blood pressure is high which I'm on meds for. I remember feeling and looking fantastic with this WOE and Doc said my blood work was great. So I'm back, happy to be here and excited to be in contact with others. It all starts for me in the morning when I wake up and I'm ready!

Scott, I felt the same on WW and you had to think about food all day long. Points here, exchanges there. Too much hassle and I was always hungry.

I love this WOE and although I have gone on and off for the past three years I have managed to keep most of my weight off in spite of myself. Now I am back on, just finished Induction again and am ready for round three. Welcome to the board. The first week is the toughest but after that it is much smoother going.

    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Welcome Scott! We are always glad to see someone from WW because we know how hard you had to struggle to lose a little bit and now you can eat great food and lose even more weight.

When I was on WW, they started me out on 22 points and I was barely surviving, then I lost a few pounds so they cut me back to 21. I was starving! I lost 10 pounds the first month and gained it back the 2nd one. On this woe, I eat filling foods that get me through the day without being hungry, so I'm here to stay!

This board is wonderful and full of inspiration. I'm looking forward to seeing you around!
