I just started Atkins today. This diet sounds like a good fit for me, except I drink a lot of coffee and tea, and don't exercise... much. (OK, OK, I don't exercise at all.) Oh well, everyone can change, right? Reading the forums today, it sounds like some folks have really done an about-turn with their lifestyles and eating habits.
A bit about me: I've been chubby for years and not cared very much, but after I quit smoking 2 years ago, I have really packed on the pounds. I finally hit 200 pounds and the enormity of it (haha) finally registered with me, I guess.
I've move around a lot for my work. Right now I live in Bermuda where the ocean is blue blue blue
But too cold to swim yet.
Good luck to everyone in their goals; you seem a nice bunch of folks. I quit smoking with the help of an online support forum, so I hope this community support approach helps with weight loss too.
