Hi there, I'm Jacob. When I first found this site it was 2005 and I was just starting my journey of the wonderful world of fitness. My old name here use to be J-Dub, but I'm out of high school now and am actually done with college too.
Atkins helped me go from 275-155 around the time I graduated high school in 2006 and at the moment I'm around 190. I'm not one of those people who quit Atkins and gained the weight back because of it, I just wanted to experiment with other plans like The Abs Diet which did help me put on some lean muscle, but I found it a bit too rigorous.
I have more muscle now than I've ever had before, but I'm overweight by a good 15-20lbs. I realized that the Atkins approach is what I am comfortable with and am in it for the long haul this time. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to trading advice and support with you all.
