I'm Cristela 33 y/o f from Souther CA and I started Atkins Induction phase on 03/14/09 so I will be done with my Inductin on Sat 3/28 and I just want to share with you how excited I am.
I started at 245 and I am down to 231
and induction isn't over. I am so glad to have found this support and look forward to meeting you all. 
I started trying to diet since Jan 1st and at that time I was at 250 (my heaviest ever! ) I was going to a Nutritionist and I figured I was eating about 1300-1600 Cal a day and still not losing (all but 5 pounds) I was even exercising ! I was always soooo hungry and tired and at 2.30- 3.00 each day, I'd lose it for sweets/carbs.
I feel so much better now and AM NOT HUNGRY!! I am eating more and not having all the cravings and fatigue. I almost gave up on Atkins about my 5th day in because I felt so lousy and my body hurt so much to even walk. I'm glad that I've commited myself and have almost completed induction. I think I may stay on a little longer because I love seeing less of me each week.
