My name is Bill and I am a new member.
I just found this site today and it looks like a great source of information and support. I had used the Atkins diet about 10 years ago and lost over 40 lbs. I kept it off for some time but started to get a good deal of comments from friends and family about the diet so I switched to one closer to a food pyramid type diet. It was okay for awhile but in the last 2 years, the pounds started creeping back on. I have realized that the Atkins plan is the best for me. I started induction phase on Monday. I can tell from the strips that I am in ketosis but I have not yet lost weight. This is not getting me down because the same thing happened to me last time. Then in week two, I lost about 10 lbs.
Anyway, thanks for a great site! I look forward to visiting often.

Yeah, we all lose differently....make sure you measure too!
