  • Starting inducton today!!!

hello all! i have been a lurker for about 3 days and gotta say i love this board! my hubby and i both did atkins last year and we both did well i lost 20 lbs, he lost 50 (typical man) well right after our weight loss we got pregnant so i immediately went off of atkins and used being preg as an excuse to have a fast food free for all!! i gained 60lbs going from 150 to 210 when i delivered this past Jan. He basically followed suit and gained 45 lbs! WE ARE READY FOR A CHANGE!!! We have both started induction today. i weighed in today at 190 and i am going to measure tonight, i am going to ask dh to take the scale and hide it so i can only measure once a week instead of once a day(at least) wish me luck, michelle

Welcome back to Atkins. So glad you are getting healthy now so you will have the energy to do things with your baby. I missed out on so much with my children because I was too tired and unhealthy to participate in a lot of activity in their lives.

Having your husband do Atkins with you is fantastic. I know the two of you can support each other and keep one another motivated. Make sure you both read the book, take supplements, drink lots of water and exercise. It will be exciting to hear the progress you make together!! Best Wishes!!! :icondance

              Hello Michelle :wave
              Welcome to ha

Having someone to do this with you at home is one of the best aids to success you can have. Combined with the support you will get here you can't go wrong :yes

In case you have forgotten any vital rules make sure you read your DANDR again and I am sure you will soon be on a losing streak!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
