Hi, I'm Kimberly. I started Atkins March 18, 2009. I've been on Atkins before (about 6 years ago). My main reason for turning back to Atkins is that I have been diagnosed w/PCOS (about three years ago) and high insulin levels. I never knew that Atkins regulated those things until I read the book for a second time. Six years ago, I had no idea what PCOS even was. Now, my husband and I would like to start a family and I pray that this is my answer. I don't plan on going back to my old ways and habits with eating. I am super excited about my transformation and my life finally getting on track. I can't even begin to explain the pain and depression that I've dealt with over the last few years. I wish I'd known that low carbing was my answer a long time ago. I've had a slow start (only 8 pounds in two weeks) but I already feel better. But, I know that God has a purpose and a plan. So, I'm just keeping the faith and praying that now is the time for us. I'm very happy to have found you guys and I've already gained strength from reading through different post.
So, without further rambling, I'm here. Hi everyone.
