    hello everyone,
    I am not new to the atkins diet, but new to this site. I used the atkins method several times to get those extra pounds off. I had a baby almost two years ago and instead of the weight falling off while I breastfed him, I accumulated more weight. So, I am ready to do this again but with help this time. So far, I have lost 6lbs in 10 days. I forgot I could not have almonds or any nut so I am sure I would have lost more weight. I think the best thing to do is a do over for the induction. I started again yesterday but without the almonds.

    As with any diet, when you use Atkins to drop a few pounds and then go back to how you were eating before..... well, infortunately it's kind of like electing the same politicians and expecting change

    Do you still have your Atkins book? We use the 2002 version here. you can find all sorts of helpful stuff like induction friendly food in the Phases forums as well. It's the beginning of the month, so a great time to join a challenge or two.

      Hey there Chicklady,
      I do have the 2002 book. I was looking through it and realized i was ingesting things that I shouldn't. But, that is what I get trying to wing it from memory. LOL
