    Hi Everyone

    2morrow or should i say 2day is my 1st day on the Atkins, in 2007 i went back 2 university and have gained so much weight so my plan is to lose as much weight as i can b4 the summer as last year i was the weight i am now and had a really hard time i felt so fat that i wore things to hind my shape which meant i was hot all the time as i was over dress but i can't do this another year it was to much, so from 2morrow is the begin of the new me well it more i want to be the old me. i was a fitness instructor and worked out everyday but since i've been at uni working out has gone out the window but i'm gonna get up nice and early and do a hour workout which i still do everynow and then but i want to get back to doin it everyday it really does help me feel better about myself well here goes to WEIGHT LOSE can't wait

    Welcome to ! You've come to the right place!! It's great that you've got experience with working out. So you already know how great it makes you feel!! Follow induction to the letter and don't forget your water! You can do this!

      Hi Blue -- I'm so happy you found us and are ready to change your life. This plan works and is fairly easy once you know the rules and follow them. I hope you have the DANDR 2002 edition and have read it. It's a critical part of your journey.
      To get you going until you can get a book (if you don't have one) here are the rules of induction and the list of acceptable foods - if it's not on the list you don't eat it..period!

      Vary your meals so you don't get bored with the same old thing and want to leave the plan....here are a few recipe sites - make sure you use only the induction friendly recipes to begin with.

          Thanx everyone

          i've started to day i do have the book got it time ago and have read it, and not really done much more untill today

          i got up this morin and started with some yoga and then went on to cardio interval training so feelin pretty gd, just had some eggs but will have a mini salad with chicken in a bit mmmmmmmm

              It sounds like you are off to a good start although it can't be easy when in school full time, but I know you can do it!

                Hey Blueeeee. I'm cheering for ya. No more summers like the last one. I'd like to go out in shorts and not feel like I have to hide. Varicose veins are bad enough but the bubbles of fat are just too much. Got to git-r-done.

                Will be sending ya lot's of positive energy through the Universe.

                  i'm so gonna need all the help i ca get, my exams start in the next few weeks and at times of stress i eat like a pig, on all the things which are bad for me, so i know its gonna be a real hard time for me but i have to do this, so i can feel happy bein me

                    Hey there Blueeeee,
                    I just went out to the store to stock up on walnuts and macadamias. If I eat too much of those my teeth will hurt. I forgot how good they were but MUST limit. LOL. We did get the pantry and frig cleaned out of all the junk. I took some to work and so did my daughter. Got rid of it all. I gotta get my book out and read up. It always helps me to maintain where I am that day. I'm so easily distracted and can get off track. I'm in sunny Florida and am already in shorts season practically. Temp is 88 out. Ugh!!!

                      Ur so lucky i'm @ my mums house at the moment and shes not on any type of atkins so the house is full of bad food which is so hard only good thing was she had salmon in bread crums for dinner today which i HATE so that made it easy on me.

                      but i'll be goin back 2 my uni house soon which is where i find it da hardest to stick to anything my flatmate are all very skinny and eat what they like, and we take turns cookin so i guess when i go back i'll have to stop this and do all the cookin myself boooooooo LOL
