    Hi everyone! My name is Becky and I am currently in my 2nd week of induction. I have so far lost 5.2 pounds. I currently weigh 165.4 pounds and my goal is at least 30 pounds. I really would like to break the 60's before I move on to step 2. Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks! My husband is doing this with me and of course he is doing much better. But that is ok! Hope to get to know everyone! Have a great saturday night!

    Hi Becky -- welcome to ADBB and congratulations on a wonderful amount of weight gone forever. It's nice to have your husband working with you on this and don't worry about him doing better - men do -- it's just another reason to be annoyed with them...LOL (just teasing).

    Keep up the great work and I'm sure you'll be at your joal before you know it.

      Becky Good Luck!!! You'll be fine, I'm happy to hear that no matter what success your husband has you're determined. Keep up the good work! Every pound lost is a pound closer to your goal weight.

        You are so fortunate to have your hubby doing this with you. Don't let his rapid loss discourage you... men definitely have a metabolic advantage over us!

          Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I am so glad to have found y'all! I weighed this morning and I am up a pound. Oh well, it has to break sooner or later (been stuck within a pound and a half for a week now!). I have been overdoing the coffee since I was on vacation last week. Still in ketosis so I have to drop! Hope everyone has a great Sunday. We will be going to the beach with our 11 year old today so maybe I will sweat some!

            Welcome to the board, applejax!

            Don't worry about a pound up every now and again because it's just your body adjusting to the new diet. And if you must drink coffee, you would be better off to switch to de-cafe because caffeine stalls some people.
