Hi all!
My name is Jen and I am returning to the Atkins WOL after an 8 year hiatus. I am a middle school teacher and for the past year have been working on the process to be certified by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. It is a time-consuming process and I have to admit that I have given in to every bad impulse about eating over the past few months .. I would either skip meals or eat bags of candy for the meal ... i was living on diet pepsi and not much else. I have felt like crap. A week ago I was at my heaviest weight in my life (heavier than when I was pregnant). When I was on this WOL 8 years ago I felt great, so I knew that I had to get back there.
I am on day 9 right now and feeling like crud, I think I am mostly over the carb withdrawal thing, but I am now feeling the caffeine withdrawal. Glad to have found this board and all of the helpful, knowledgable people here!!
