Hi there everybody, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Eric, i am from Cali and i think it is a real joy to find like minded people to share in a like minded effort. I am looking forward to reading and sharing stories of success with this group as well as those much needed answers to questions i might have. I started Atkins at the beginning of March 09 and right away my energy went from 20 to 80%. the weight just started to come off so quickly (14 pounds to be exact)...i decided to stay on induction since i have a good amount to lose, but i noticed that the pounds have not come of like they did in the first 2 weeks, but that is ok. i keep reading that this is a monor delay in a process that is beyond me. i haven't cheated and i still feel great all day, so the fact that the scale hasn't moved much in the last few weeks is ok with me, since i came here a read that a few people have had this same thing happen to them. so i felt alot better that i wasn't a special case..see this site has helped me already. i will keep you posted. tata for now

Re: so happy i found you
Welcome, Eric!
I really like your patient attitude. It will go a long way toward keeping you focused on your new way of eating instead of the scale!
Glad you found us!

Re: so happy i found you
Hi Eric
Yes, your loss will slow as you progress. Right now though, you're probably experiencing the typical post induction stall. This too shall pass
BTW, a lot of follks find that moving up a Rung actually gets things moving again!
