  • Back on Track!!!

    Hey Everyone!

Hows it going. My name is Mindy Im 21 yrs old. I originally started Atkins 02-17-09 but when my birthday rolled around here in march...that kinda messed things up for me.

I started out at 178 lbs. In about a month I got down 11 lbs. I was at 167 lbs. right before i cheated on my birthday. I had alcohol..then instead of just only cheating on my birthday it turned into a weekend and then one week of eating pure crap!! Im so upset with myself for letting that happen. I gained 4 lbs. back. So now I'm up to 171 lbs.

But here I am back in the game and I will not let that happen again! I re-started April 6th. Im on my second day of induction and Im also doing it alot cleaner and stricter then I was before. Iven never been a big water drinker at all. But I've been drinking more water in the past 2 days then I have in my entire life. I know. Thats so bad.
Im just so excited and I cant wait to see those pounds fly off for good. Cant wait to get in a bikini again!!!

Thanks so much for reading this. Goodluck to all of you and I look forward to meeting all of you! Any tips or advise is very much appreciated.

Start Date: Monday, June 22nd, 2009

    Hi, Mindy

I really identify with what you wrote here... while there may be some people who can get away with an occasional cheat, I am NOT one of them. It can snowball into tragedy.

Fortunately, you can turn this incident into a valuable lesson learned. You have learned first-hand what a slippery slope going off plan can be. Remember that about it... BUT, you also need to forgive yourself so you can move on, secure in the knowledge that you can and will stick to plan. Failing is not in the falling down, but in the staying down.

    Have a great Atkins day!
