I had a baby in November and was looking for a way a way to shed weight. I only need to lose 15- 20 pounds for my pre preggo weight and my boyfriend told me to not eat carbs and I found this site. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and since i met him doesnt eat any carbs, well very rare if he does. He told me lost 40 pounds in 2 months just eating eggs cheese and lunch meat right before I met him. And well since hes on this diet I might as welll try it out.

Welcome! It's nice you've decided to do Atkins.
However, from the way you've described it, your boyfriend is doing a completely different diet. Eggs, cheese, and lunch meat is not what Atkins is about. He should be eating vegetables, and lots of them!
But maybe you can help him to do it right by eating lots of veggies yourself.

Welcome to the board!
Be sure to read the Atkins Phases forum to see what and how much you should be eating because there are rules to the diet and when it's done right, the results are amazing. You should also have the 2002 edition of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution because it explains fully how and why the diet works.
