    Hi there...just wanted to introduce myself my name is Tammy and I have just started this whole new way of thinking about food, diets etc.
    Diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea recently thus the change in lifestyle...cpap is not a great look for me!

    I have had my face in books and online searching for info, support and more info...voila here I am!looking forward to chatting and learning as much as I can.

    Glad you found us Tammy, this is a great supportive board and I know you'll love it here. We recommend that you read the book, Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, its great and worth the read.
    There is a lot of bad information circling the cyber world about Atkins, so if you have a question, be sure to ask.
    Print out a copy of the Acceptable food list and vow nothing will go into your mouth thats not on the list for the next two weeks. Read every label, never assume as we have all be surprised once or twice.

          Hi Tammy .... my husband sleeps with a cpap also....we've had it in bed with us for over 2 years now. I honestly don't think I could sleep now without hearing it...LOL!

          This is a wonderful place to be - the plan is very easy to follow and it works! If you have questions just ask - someone is always here and you won't find a more helpful friendly bunch of people anywhere!

          Read the 2002 DANDR book.....exercise, take the supplements recommended and drink LOTS of water to keep everything flowing out of your system. Best of luck!!
