    Here's my story;
    -Started atkins diet last Sunday
-Weighed myself yesterday and I've lost 7 pounds

-I'm doing so well but for some reason I foolishly go and consume 100g+ of carbs today (I didn't even have cravings)

Now I'm extra motivated and looking to restart the diet alongside a vigorous home training program

Oh and I've joined this forum to get some extra motivation so hi all and I'm looking to get involved in this community while acheiving my goals and also while helping other people to acheive their goals
    Height - 5ft 6 1/2

    Start weight - 183 pounds
    Start date - 15/04/09

    Target weight - 140 pounds

    Current weight - 170.8 pounds
    Buried weight - 12.2 pounds

    Welcome, JB!

We all do foolish, inexplicable things with food sometimes.

What's important is that you are motivated, you're back on track, you have a plan, and you planning to incorporate exercise into your program.

Sounds like a winning combination to me!

Hey Jonni. You know what I think? Everyone falls off the wagon. It's like the Matrix, with the jump program. Everyone falls the first time. Even "the One". So don't be too hard on yourself.

Welcome to the boards. Hope to see you around a lot.

        Re: Fingers crossed

Welcome Jonni -- I hope you have read the DANDR book so you have a clear understanding of the program, why and how it works. A lot of time when you think you are hungry you are actually thirsty. Do yourself a favor and if you think you want something to eat - go drink a large glass of water, wait 10 to 15 minutes...if you still think you are hungry get something off the acceptable food list. If it's not on the list it doesn't belong in your body.

Good luck restarting induction. Here are some links that might help.

          Welcome to the board, Jonni!

We all have times when we overeat; that's why we are here. Just let bygones, be bygones and get right back on the diet. That's the key to success, never give up!

          Good luck to you!
