  • Hi all!!

    Hi everyone.

    Just a quick post to introduce myself!

    I'm back to the atkins diet after losing 26Ibs at the end of last year

    I reached my goal weight and loved it, unfortunalty i started to eat lots of chocolate and sugar filled treats thinking it would be ok as i was going to the gym....bad thinking, i've gained 13 Ibs pounds back and so i'm starting induction again and today is day two

    Do you think it will be harder round this time to lose weight? I hope not

    Hi Polly Everyone is different, so it's hard to say how fast or slow you'll go, but better to have to lose 13 pounds this time than the whole 26!! Check out the STAC forum....Second Time Around Club....

      Hi,

      Thats so true, at least i reined myself in before it got too late...I've hung up my size 8 jeans so i get to look at them when i feel like cheating..i will fit into them again!!

      On day two, and feeling great, no cravings, i'd have usually have eaten a heavy carb breakfast and also been snacking on my lunch at my desk...but i've had my scrabmled eggs for breaky and i have my tuna salad for lunch...hitting the gym tonight...then will have a nice beef stir fry

      Also i've put the scales away, i used to weight myself at leat 4 times a day and get so upset when i saw an increase. Going to weight myself on the 28th April and let you know how i do

      Changing a few things this time, no soya or too much cheese and no nuts. I ate way too much protein last time as well so making sure i eats all me greens and drink lots of water. ALSO no damn atkins bars and shakes this time either...any other tips?? xx

          On the second bottle of water now

          How do i up my fat intake? I don't want to binge on cheese, mayo or cream etc? Will oily fish work ok? xx

                Oily fish,fatty meat, full fat dressing in your salad, butter on your veggies. I like making garlic oil (garlc and olive oil) for my meats and veggies...prefer it over butter. Coconut oil is supposed to be good for belly fat.

                  Good thinking, will stop by the shops tonight. Am planning home made burgers for tomorrow and i might even try some home made Ketchup!

                  Chicklady, you've lost 103 Ibs??? That is amazing, well done!!!

                  I have 13Ibs to shift wish me luck and I apologise for the stupid questions.

                  Now I am going to have my little snack of cheese and not feel bad

                  My boyfriend just told me he has hidden the scales LOL so i dont get stressed like last time. He's been amazing, i woke up crying last night at my weight gain and he dealt with it so well....
