  • Introducing myself

Hi, my name is Will and I'm from Australia. My weight is currently unknown but I will be starting the Atkins diet in 3 days time with my friend. We are both larger than most of the guys we work with and have just started making changes in our lives to self improve. I think I have about 40-50 kgs to lose, but will have measurements later this week.

Thanks for the chance to share my experiences and take inspiration from you exceptional people.

Bowolf, you were the one who initially set me on this track after I saw your youtube video. Thank you and I hope I can come close to your vast accomplishments.

      Re: Introducing myself

hi Will - glad you are here and ready to make a change in your life. I hope you have the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book.....Amazon.com has copies very cheap if you don't have it yet.

Good luck on your weight loss....do a clean induction, if it's not on the acceptable food list - don't put it in your mouth! Drink at least 64 ounces of pure water every day (not tea or coffee -- water!), exercise of some form is mandatory also -- dance around your home, walk, bike, run whatever you like to do.

Make sure you eat different foods and plan meals in advance so you know what you're eating and won't cheat as easily. Good luck - you can do this.

      Rules of Induction:
