    Hi,
    I've actually been doing Atkins for 3 weeks. I've only lost 10 lbs. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    My name is Kat and I'm back and forth right now between 240 and 235. I'm 5'4". I am told I have a beautiful face, I'd like my body to match it! I was a dancer when I was younger. I'd really like to get my old self back!
    I will do whatever it takes. Somebody give me a regimen and I'll follow it exactly. I don't get why the weight isn't coming off???

    hi Kat -- you don't say what your goal weight is but losing 10 pounds in 3 weeks doesn't sound bad to me. Each of us has a different system so there is no magic regimen anyone can give you to follow...you need to eat the food, drink at least 64 ounces of clear water each day and exercise. This isn't a fad diet where you eat a few calories and the weight falls off for a couple months then you stall....this takes work, each and everyday. Have you read the 2002 DANDR book and understand the science behind the program? The weight will come off but it doesn't happen overnight...you have to be patient.

    Make sure the food you are eating is on the acceptable food list -- if it's not on that list it doesn't belong in your mouth. Are you weighing your food to make sure you know the exact amounts you are eating? Do you use FitDay to imput your food everyday? Make sure you are counting net carbs not full carbs. You need a variety of food so your body doesn't get bored with the same thing over and over -- you will quit if you don't get enough variety. This WOE is the best tasting "diet" I've ever been on.

      My goal weight for now is 180. I'd eventually like to be 145. I know it takes work each day, that's just it, I have never stuck to something so faithfully ever . . . I have read the book yes. Foods are all on the list yes. Just started using Fit Day today so maybe that will help. Thanks.

        If you want to post a menu ( in the post a menu section) someone will look it over for you. Maybe that will help. It sounds like me like things are going well. 10 lbs is a lot of weight. Just pick up a bag of flour And it is going the right direction.
