  • I'm NEW!

    Hello everybody,

I'm new to this whole thing and honestly i'm just wanting some general info. I am by no means overweight or in any health danger, i'm just wanting to lose about 10 pounds. I've tried everything it seems like and my body just seems to be content at 120 pounds. I also just got a personal trainer a little while ago and it has helped me bring down my body fat percentage but my weight is staying the same.. I'm at about 23.7%, which is "fair" for my weight/height range. So, i'm just looking to lose a little bit of weight.. good idea or no?

    Re: I'm NEW!

I would say davisac that I am your height and I would not be able to get down to 110. But I am close to 50 so that is a whole different scenario there Exercising hard will make you build muscles (which is good) but muscles - though they take up less space and you will look buff do weigh more than fat (in equal volumes). So it may not be realistic to expect to lose a lot weight for you at this time. But you will look great. That number on the scale is not everything.
