    hi all its my 5th day of induction and ive been getting good info from these boards. i figured it was time to put up a hello. i have gained a whopping 100lbs in the past year! i am a recovering addict and seems ive replaced addictions! the storys on here give me hope and it seems very supportive..... 5 days ago i weighed 263 and i am 5' 2''. I havent weighed myself because it seems that im a slave to the scale so im trying my hardest to break that too. but i will post my stats after induction

    Hello and welcome -- we all have some type of addiction...some just have food addictions, some are recovering alcoholics, stopped smoking, stopped drugs....but we're all here to support and help each other in any way!

    I'm glad you've found us and are ready to come out of hiding!! Here are a few recipe sites you can use to help keep you from getting bored eating the same old thing. Make sure you are eating induction recipes until you are ready to climb the rungs of OWL. Make sure you're only eating foods on the acceptable food list and are staying away from the bars and shakes -- they have been known to stall weight loss!!

    Make sure you are drinking at least 64 ounces of pure water a day -- coffee, tea, soda's do not count toward the 64 ounces. Also start some form of exercise - walk, ride a bike, swim, dance - just get up and start moving...between the food, exercise and water you will loose faster and tone up quicker!!
