  • Hi

Hi Everyone! My name is Cheryl. I have made the decision to "re-start" Atkins. I believe it is a good thing and I know it works. I was successful on it in the past (before the birth of my last child) but after I had her and went off I havent really tried and Im at my wits end now.... the heaviest I have ever been. I know I need to do this and I need all the encouragement and support I can get! The problem I have is I do good for a little while and then I just go off. One bad day and I just say heck with it. I also started working nights and It has really thrown me off. Any advise on how to plan my meals I only work 3 nights a week. Anyway thanks in advance for the support!!

    Re: Hi

    Hi, Cheryl

I'm glad that you've found us.

If you haven't seen this yet, give it a look: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-new-read.html This contains a lot of good information to help people get started/re-started with the plan, and also some good links. One of those links is to a website that a lot of us use for recipes, which is wonderful. One thing about Atkins - you have to plan ahead, so definitely look for recipes and ideas. We also have a great recipe forum on the board.

I'm one of many who had to make more than one attempt at Atkins before I got it right. So you're not alone! Make sure to check out the STAC forum (Second Time Around Club). There is a link to that forum in the link that I posted above. Lots of great folks there, who have "been there and done that"... tons of good support.

    Best wishes to you!
