Greetings,
Today I am a week on Atkins induction and I am very happy with my results. I have lost 7lbs in the last 7 days by following the rules to the letter. I must admit I have been a bit lazy on the excersise front but that will start from this weekend.
The reason I have decided to write this post is that this forum has been an excellent source of inspiration for me and in the last few weeks before I made the decision to commit I have been dipping in and reading through the success stories.
For all the potential atkineers out there, it does work! and for all the regulars, A Big Thanks for all your hints and tips!
Cheers, Flynner

Welcome to the board, we're gald to have you.

Way to go Flynner you're doing great. Get up and do some exercise - no excuses! I've gone from huffing and puffing to the corner to walking several miles at a time and riding 15 - 20 miles at a time on my stationary bike....and that's from a fat middle age woman who sat on her rear for years -- you are young and I have faith you can do this!!
and can run 10k without stopping. This is the lightest i have been in 20 years and enjoying every moment of it. My plan is to stick with it, as it is now a habit and a complete lifestyle change. My goal is to see sub 200lbs on the scales and i can see it now in my not to distant future for the first time since I was 18 years.
