This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've started the Atkins diet since I was 15 years old (26 now).
I'm your typical yo-yo dieter. I've been from Atkins to the Zone and back. I've tried Weight Watchers, PSMF, Calorie Counting, Slim Fast, the Cabbage Soup Diet. Everything. Out of the blue it occurs to me "Why do I even mess with any of this stuff? Why am I not doing what works for me?"
The only thing different this time around is my source of inspiration. I had my first child 4 months ago. I have plenty of pictures of him - pictures of him and his father - but I run when the camera points my way. I'm tired of running, but I'm also tired of being cranky and not getting anywhere with my weightloss.
So - here I am. Day 3 of Induction and 4 pounds down already. Not starving. Eating well, in fact. I've lost 50 pounds since giving birth. I want to lose another 67 pounds and KEEP IT OFF! I'm looking forward to finishing Induction and moving through all the phases of the Atkins WOL.
Nice to meet you all!
