  • New GI

Hello, I am new to the board and the lifestyle. I am a member of the military, and am trying to lose about 35 lbs that I put on after suffering a pretty good back injury on a parachute jump. My ability to do all the physical portions of my job has been compromised not only by the injury but now by the extra weight I carry on me. So I hope I can make this work for me and get back on my way to my old happy (and smaller) self.

You sure can. Just follow the programme and it will work out. Welcome to ADBB. Just ask away if you wonder about something. It can be a bit of adjustment and we are here to help and support.

Welcome! Stay by this board and you will get back in shape sooner than you think. Find something safe in the way of exercise that is okay with your medical doctor. For me, low impact with high results was swimming and walk/jogging in the pool. Keeps you toned, too.

            Best wishes.
