  • Hey everyone!!

Hi I'm a 29 year old mother of 2 from Ohio. I just started my atkins diet today after thinking about it for the last month or so.
My breaking point was when I started looking at pictures of myself and thought that is not what I look like...didn't even look like the me I see in my head. I know somethings gotta give.
I have a couple of questions
~What if anything is good to eat for breakfast during induction-other than eggs?
~and after day one I seriously don't think any of the food I've eaten today has digested. I swear I can feel it all sitting in my stomache. Can anyone else relate to this?

Thanks everyone, I look forward to getting to know you all and following your journeys!

    Welcome Jenkampy.
Sounds like you just have to give it some time to adjust. You're being a bit hard on the food. How are you feeling now.
About the breakfast. I love eggs - but there are other things you can do. Probably many threads around here about this. Here is a recent one

hi Jen -- make you are drinking at least 64 ounces of clear water each day, eating the foods on the acceptable foods list and are exercising. Good luck to you.

        Welcome to the board, jenkampy!

Are you eating the required veggies? They are necessary to keep things moving, so to speak. And remember to drink a lot of that all important water. Exercise helps too!

Keep us posted on your progress!
