Hi there,

My name is Cindy and I am from Southwest MO. I'm 51 year old and married for almost 9 years, (this time). LOL I am in the Trucking insurance industry and love my job.
I have struggled with being overweight my whole life, as I'm sure all of you have. I got my goal of 175 several years ago. I lost 80 pounds in one year by eatting lowfat and going to the gym. I have ballooned back up to 250. I have gotten down to 208 twice in the last couple years to gain it back once again and then some. I started back on Atkins yesterday and wanted to get in a good support/informational group and this one looked like just what I need. Wish me success on my journey! Glad to be here!

I forgot to add I have been on Atkins before with great success. I know any program will work if you consistently stay on it.

welcome Cindy -- I live outside St. Louis so we're practically neighbors! I'm glad you've found your way back to this WOE. Here are some links that will help - make sure you are eating the acceptable foods, drink at least 64 ounces of clear water a day and exercise -- other then that here are some recipe links. Make sure you are using induction friendly recipes to begin with! If you need anything just ask!
