  • Hi!

    I've been lurking for a bit and decided to introduce myself. I started a low fat diet in February, but I was soon frustrated with the results. I began my Atkins journey on April 10th weighing in at 178lbs. So far, I've tripped over a few "hidden" carbs, but I'm pretty happy with my results.

    I'm exercising 5 days a week and drinking more water than ever. This forum and all of the support is really great! Thanks for being here!

    welcome Leona -- glad you aren't lurking anymore! Good job on your weight loss so far, the hidden carbs are something you have to steer around, but it sounds like you're doing fine.

      Keep up the good work...you can do it. I'm sure you will be pleased with how the Atkins diet makes you feel. You truely dont feel hungry and you have so many food choices!

        136 - No longer overweight (yes, I know this is lower than my goal weight)
