Hi, I am new to Atkins and relatively new to low carb. So I am thrilled to have found this site and have already been looking through a lot of notes looking for ideas.
I tried Protein Power for about 6 weeks and was not losing. I am not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I kept going back and reading the book and it looked like I was following the program. But I started reading about Atkins and started on the Induction phase one week ago. I am happy to say that as of yesterday, I am down just under 6 pounds!!!!
Last night was my first read challange. We have out of town company and we went out for dinner last night. I had planned ahead but was concerned as I really have been thinking about bread recently. I DID manage to get through dinner without the bread that was sitting on the table!!!!
My dinner was great! Steak, onions, sauteed spinach. I paased on the wine and really enjoyed myself!!!
I am looking forward the support and am sure I will be asking questions along the way.
