    Hi Every1,

    I am happy to join this network. Im 26 years of age, and looking to make a lifestyle change in my eating habits. My goal is to lose 20 pounds and to make the atkins plan a daily routine to keep myself healthy and live a well balanced life.

    Im currently in induction phase and really excited. Ive already viewed a few of these posts for info, its been very helpful.

        welcome -- read as much as you can that will give you the basis you'll need to follow the program as it's written so you'll have success. Join a few challenges, they will help keep you accountable and will help you meet others.

        make sure you're only eating foods on the acceptable food list, drink at least 64oz of pure water daily (not diet colas, coffee, tea - these don't count toward your 64 ounces daily), find some form of exercise you enjoy and do it.

          Welcome to the board!

          Do you have the 2002 edition of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the one we use here and is a must read because it explains how and why the diet works.
