Hello there everyone!! I joined a LOOONG time ago, but just got serious about the Atkins a few weeks ago. My name is Jamie and I am a 31yo female living in beautiful Western Washington. I have a wonderful husband named Kevin and we'll be married 6 years this June. Kevin and I are both morbidly obese, with him being extreme morbidly obese. We are both doing the Atkins journey together!!

I also have PCOS (Poly cystic ovary Syndrome) and a low carb diet is supposed to help with that as well.

I hope to share my successes and get help to overcome my failures. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!

hi Jamie and Kevin -- welcome to a wonderful place. You've come to the right place for support and any questions you need answers to.

There is a group here for PCOS and another for people who have over 100 pounds to loose, both can be very helpful - a little extra nudge from people who are in the same boat as you.

Good luck to you both. Here are recipe links -- make sure you don't eat the same thing over and over -- variety is so important and with Atkins there are so many things to choose from you should never get tired or bored.

If you ever need anything all you have to do is ask!
