Hi just another newbie here I have been reading this site all day and I am excited to start my journey. I am a bit slow at times for please forgive me in advanced lol

hi and welcome Theresa -- we follow the 2002 Dr Atins New Diet Revolution book (DANDR). Check out the 14 day induction forum for information to get you started Atkins Diet 14-day Induction - Atkins Diet.

Make sure you are only eating from the acceptable food list -- if something isn't on the list don't eat it! During the first 14 days follow the plan 100% and you'll break addictions to foods, sweets, and drinks so your body can begin healing itself. In the process you will find out the type of loser you are going to be.

Eat the correct food, drink at least 64 ounces of pure water everyday (coffee, soda, crystal light -- don't count -- only pure water), and start some type of exercise routine.
