I am 418 pounds, I want to weigh 250, for now. My husband (also 418 pounds) and I started the Atkins diet 4 days ago now. We are both Insulin Resistant. We haven't been eating total protein, as we have been eating greens and veggies to break up the grease. However, we are going to start the 2 weeks of protein on Monday, we have to finish up all of our veggies before they spoil.
Anyway, we walk about a mile every night, in a few days we will go up to a whole mile. As soon as we can, we will try to do 2 - 1 mile walks everyday.
We are hoping to drop a whole lot of weight quickly and lower our insulin levels back to normal!
I am hoping that you all will be able to help us along and give us great advice! Looking forward to chatting!

At this moment, no, we don't have the book. We plan to get it though. We are following the the graph that we got out of the Advantage Atkins protein bars, which by the way, I LOVE the Peanut butter and granola ones, WOW, sinful!
