    Hello everyone, I'm Molly

    I'm seventeen (turning 18 on May 14th). I'm from North Carolina.

    I've been on Atkins since February 1st of this year. I went from 230 to 193 in what seems like no time. My goal is 155 -- I'm 5'8" btw.

    I've stalled this past week for the first time, any tips? I'm not giving up though, this is the first diet that's ever worked for me! I haven't cheated once.

    My big brother has been dieting with me, he's 28, and that's been a huge help!

    What phase of the diet are you in? Are you doing extended Induction or are you in OWL?

    A stall is defined as four consecutive weeks with no weight loss or loss of inches. One week is just a small pause and you'll see many of these during the weight loss phases of your Atkins journey. It's normal.

    That being said, many people experience a real stall if they keep their carbohydrates artificially low. So if you are still in Induction, you might consider adding more vegetables and moving on to OWL Rung 1. This would also give you time to advance through all the phases of the program by the time you reach your goal weight.

    You may want to post your menu in the "Review My Menu" forum and then we can check if there's any room for improvement there.

      Welcome to the board, MollyAnn!

      Congrats on your loss so far and for not cheating!!!

      You are doing great so don't let these little adjustment periods get you down. Your body just needs time to catch up with your new way of eating.
